Mission Endure 33: The Coming Holiday Food Shortages

In her The Organic Prepper website Daisy Luther posted an article by Robert Wheeler that discusses how Grocery Stores are Prepping for a 2nd Wave and Holiday Food Shortages. I have heard from two sources so far that the large retailers like WalMart and CostCo are stocking up their food reserves in anticipation for a failure of the supply chain. The demand for food for the holidays is always staggering. When you pile on top of that the fear of another Covid-19 spike and the shortages in food and cleaning supplies that go along with those spikes, and the fear that that the upcoming election will spark new riots, we could be in for a difficult time finding the food items and Christmas presents we normally look forward to during the holidays. My suggestion is to shop early for both food and presents and rest up knowing that you have your shopping done early as others panic.
